Will Champions league keep ITV 4 off the Irish EPG?

That's my question and judging by the amount of sport IT4 is going to show including Champions league, it makes me wonder whether rights issues may arise when the channel is given it's EPG number on 120, will it be put on the Irish EPG?.

Sure it's FTA but SKY+ access would be very handy.
Was ITV 3 only put on our EPG because we lost a subscription channel forcing Sky to provide something in it's place?.

    Nothing to do with rights.

Putting stuff Irish EPG costs extra. BBC is PAID BY SKY for 1&2 on Irish EPG (a good trick! RTE take note) For UK they Pay Sky... Sky is not interested in paying BBC to put BBC3 & BBC4 on EPG and BBC is not interested in paying for 3& $ in Ireland because then Sky might not want to pay BBC for 1&2 on Irish EPG!

Its nothing to do with Champions league or "rights". Only money. On 7th you will know if it (120) is Irish and UK EPG or just UK EPG.

I notice that ITV4 on 10072 is ITV4 and on ch 136mm it is "ITV4 on MM".

BBC has no motive to pay for ANYTHING on Irish EPG. ITV gets money from adverts so has a motive to have not just 120 = ITV4 but all ITV on Irish EPG.
