Alright I need to get a christmas party for work, around 20 employees and it has to be something enjoyable, NOT 70's. Even a 80's night would be ok. it would have to be relativly inexpensive and enjoyable. Has anyone got any suggestions?

If you actually get on with people just go out for a meal & lots of boozing afterwards.
I don't really like all that planned party with a hall full of other companies thing (although it does come in handy when you don't particularly like the people you work with!).

yup - I'd go for this... especially that you've around 20 people.
Nothing like getting a big slap-up feed down (with plenty of vino :D) before hitting the pub/club for some mayhem.
Much better than those big themed nights.

A meal and boozing sounds good. That way people can drop off when they want. Luckily I'm off to Amsterdam for my Christmas party this year, all expenses paid.

you could go ice skating then for a meal and drinking. But bear in mind that if your co workers don't like you its very easy to make people fall whenice skating

heh, ice skating is always great... especially when some poor bozo like myself manages to smash a kneecap! your boss mightn't thank you for all the injuries!

What about the old reliable of a Casino night? Do you have a budget per person?
