Ok this isn't a rant about does he like me or does he not. The only way to find out is to ask, yes i know that! So do i just blurt out something or whatdo i tactfully think of something to say before i start sending a drunken text message to the likes of "but i looooooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvve uuuuuuuuuu" (as an aside : phones should be banned when drunk)

Not much of a dilemma, just curious as to whether i should just say i like ya to this guy.

    Thanks guys

I once got a message off a drunk girl at 4am saying I love you.

Its fantastic - if they take up on it, its all well, if they say something in the more negative sense, say oh god, I was drunk, I'm so sorry....Its so ambiguous, and fool proof.

oh god sent items folders are baaaad. rang my mates dad instead of my mate last weekend while v drunk. was trying to find her and assumed the fone had been answered by some guy she was with and gave out yards - cringe and he knew it was me!!!
as for ahwt you should do - show him taht you like him. dont go with the 'L' word unless you want to scare him off and it would be mortifying if he didnt feel the same. maybe ask him to go somewher just with you or something - that way he should get the messge

That wasn't a drunk girl you ninny,it was Pighead and the lads having a laugh.Works every time.We cracked up when we read your reply:
"I love you too hunnybunny, who are you by the way, don't stop loving me for asking this sugarlumps,i just need to know"
I had you figured as a tough guy mobile, how wrong I was

Tact vs blurt. Tact vs blurt. Blurt vs Tact? Hmmm, I dunno! They both have served mankind well down thru-out time.

However, I recommend 'blurt'. That way he can see you're clearly insane and have a decent chance of escape.

Ah Pighead, may you continue to live such a long and fruitful posting life in this great domain.

On the topic of drunk and posession of a mobile communication device of any kind, it can be very bad - I once had a drunken boardster ring me at 3am, who I didn't even know and had just bought something off a week previous...twas a scary experience

Yea, mobiles & drink should never be mixed!!!
There was this guy I was really into for a long time, I'd normally talk to him a bit, but nothing else really, until I was drunk, then I'd text & text & text.
I'd wake up the next morning & read my sent items & would pray that the earth would just open up & swallow me whole!!!!
    Really bad idea.

On the up side op:- I'm now going out with said guy!!!! :D:D:D:D (you can see I'm just a bit happy bout that fact!!!!) :D:D

I guess he kinda got the message that something was up from the texts (I wonder how that could ever have happened) so one night while I was relatively sober he asked me what the story was, I wasn't about to lie when I'd been given the perfect opportunity so I BLURTED!!! exactly how I felt & the rest is history as they say......

so I guess maybe in this situation the drink & mobile mixture helped me out as I probably wouldn't have been brave enough without them!!

    Not really.

Fat chicks tend to be slow & cumbersome, allowing for an easy escape..........as long as you haven't been cornered. Then you're ****ed.

Yeah boozybabe you do offer some hope there! Why does it have to be so confusing nowadays and why can't people just tell people they like them ...??!!
