    i think its pretty good man, ya the laptop carry case is a bit of a give away to theifs....good idea though :)

    could you make it something collapsable?
    ie it has rubber ends but also a metal ( or some sturdy ) frame which can be locked into place or taken apart for easy transport when there's no laptop.

    or maybe i'm not making any sense.
