Your laptop/pc needs a "TV-out" socket to do this.

    There are 3 possible solutions:
    1. Composite out
    2. S-Video out
    3. DVI out

    1. This one will look like one of those AV connections often found on the front of TVs, or on the back of DVD players etc. It will be yellow.
A standard AV cable will send this signal to your tv.
Then for sound get a cable that plugs into the headphone jack but splits into L & R stereo to plug into the TV along with the other cable above.

    2. Pretty much the same except uses S-Video connections for better picture quality so it really depends what your computer has.

    3. If you have a GFX card on your dektop (or indeed your laptop) that has a DVI connection - you can plug this straight into a plasma TV.

I watch all my movies this way - put the movie onto my iPod, connect it to the laptop, and connect the laptop to the TV - perfect everytime.

    Hope this helps!
    Digi.
