I picked up a basic/intermediate Astronomy book from work for €20 (saw in Easons for €40) under a buy book from work scheme of some sort we have. Called Universe, this one is quite a nice read. It has beautiful illustrations on most pages with overlining small readable text. It has 3 sections dealing with the universe (the solar system, milky way and beyond) and explains things like frequency, space-time etc (an overview). The next section deals with the night sky showing constellations, a monthly sky guide. Comes in 512 pages..

One for a quiet light read by the fire. :)
