This weekend see's four days of tournament poker culminating in the 350 super satellite for the Irish Poker Championship Final. The boylepoker final is a 1000 televised three day freezeout event in City West Jan 6/7/8. Tickets will be awarded to all final tablists of the super-satellites.

THURSDAY 3rd. Shamrock Lodge Athlone. Reg @ 19.00, cards @ 20.00.
€50plus€15 satellite (1 re-buy).
FRIDAY 4th. Shamrock Lodge Athlone. Reg @ 19.00, cards @ 20.00
€100 plus €15 Freezeout. 6000 starting stack with 30mins blind levels.
SATURDAY 5th. Shamrock Lodge Athlone. Reg @ 15.00, caeds @ 16.00.
€350 plus €35 freezeout.

In the event of any dispute Donal's decision is final. There will be a chip count to verify number of players and confirm 100% prizepool payout. Top 10 finishers will recieve championship tic ket (value will come off the prizepool)

Ok I'm going now that I won a ticket. Will be there Friday night for the €100 freezeout too. There's a room kept for me but I have no idea how much it is.

The rate for poker players and staff is 65 per person sharing.
This is normally 75-90 pending on time of the year availability etc. I have contacted management about the same rate being available to anyone via the internet and they have tod me all our bookings will be Delux rooms at the same price.

65 pps is the standard rate for november for everyone, give her a nudge fintan

She has assured me all bookings for the poker event will have delux rooms.

On another note, I'm on pokerroom if any of you girls want to try to bluff me in a head to head.

Absolutely freaked I can't make it down, won a ticket into the Betfair Carribbean Cup Final which starts at the awkward time of midnight on Friday, and St. Kitt's and Nevis is a little more enticing than a weekend in Athlone but I'd recommend anybody on here to give it a shot if they have the time; I was extemely impressed by the structure and organisation of the event in Dublin. I don't think you'll ever get the chance to play in a tournament of this standard for only €385, so definitely give it a shot if you get the chance.

Kicks off at 16.00 on Saturday and will go late into the evening. There is a chance of it being finished that night. It's really down to the numbers. If we need to bring final table back it will be between 14.00 and 18.00 on Sunday.

Fintan - Can you confirm the start time of the €100 FO on Friday as the missus won a ticket to it and I bought mine off a guy who couldn't make it... So I'll be playing in this as well as the Saturday game.

Stephen last night said reg at 18.00, cards at 19.00 - but above it says reg at 19.00 cards at 20.00.

Donal told me 8PM but that I would probably still get in at 8:30 as I'll be running late so I think you can assume 8 is the planned starting time.

From Dublin avoiding town center.

Take dual cabbageway around Athlone to Roscommon Exit.
Take a right heading into town on Roscommon Road at offramp T jnct.
Take a left at T junct with old galway road.
Take right at first set of traffic lights at corner of army barracks.
Take right at roundabout over small bridge and take immediate left after bridge.
Hotel entrance 200 - 250 m on right.
