    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone could help me out.

I have an access adp project which is linked to a sql database. I have created a new table in sql. Whilst in SQL as admin I can add or delete records as I like. however when i return to access I can only view the data, I am not allowed to amend it or add new records.

Is it something to do with the rights in SQL or am I missing something else ?

    Thanks in advance.

I think so, I don't know anything about ADP but you need to figure out what user info it's using to authenticate to the SQL database and give that user write permissions to your new table within SQL.

Sorry to be pedantic, but it's Insert permissions that are required on the SQL side. You may also need to give the account Update and Delete privileges too.

You're right of course, perfectly valid pedantry in this case too. :)
