I've got to get these channels. How much does it cost for the sky digital. Do I have to get the full package or can I make a selection of channels?

You can get a selection of channels,my advice would be to get a Sky plus box.....its great for recording stuff when you are out.

I've been watching these for the last couple of weeks as I'm in the USA.
They are gonna show day 3 (5) tonight. So far the coverage has been very disappointing because there have been so many players to cover but I'm hoping it will get better as the field decreases and we get to see some of Mr Black's magic. There was a good clip showing the most crazy reactions to winning a hand and there among them was our very own Joe O'Neill.

I saw Eric Seidels win and it was one hour of all-ins. Very poor coverage.

    check here

You need to get a package that includes challenge, eurosport, the poker channel and poker zone. Sky sports has some now and again including poker million but is a premium channel.

I get all of them anyway and it is about €62/mth.

FFS what a rip off. I don't watch nearly enough TV to justify that. It breaks my heart giving Chorus €30 a month when all I ever watch is the News.

    Yes I am a miser.

If you want just the basics it is about €20-€30. The expensive parts are the Sport, Movies & Premium kids stuff. For the amount of sport & poker I watch it works out very cheap per hour!

phil hellmuth is always very entertaining in my book, was it 2003 with sam grizzle? that was one of the funniest tables i've ever seen...

Sam: "Do you never look down and see 72o? you always got the nuts?"
Phil: "When your holdem champion, that's the way it is"
Sam: "What if you're just a goofballl that catches cards.."

I've got to say, the 'director's commentary' like episodes from the WSOP 2004 have been my favourite show recently on 121. They basically take a table and have one of the players discuss what was going on. The last one was Raymer (natch) at the final table, talking about why he did certain things. Nice stuff, and it'd be something that I'd recommend to up and comers.

Actually I liked that episode, especially when the redneck to his right outdrew him with his KJ against Phil's AK

    Phil Hellmuth at his best:

He makes a great laydown on a dry ace-high flop with AK when some italian guy had aces. When he was shown the aces after, hellmuth jumps up from the table and shouts to his wife in the stands, i was supposed to go broke there honey but "i can dodge bullets baby".

    Classic.

That was funny alright!! But lets be honest the only reason he laid it down was beacause old italian dude didnt have a clue how to play the hand, checking the turn and then lashing out about 10k into an 8/9k pot or something....Hellmuth's like: " What the hell? I have no idea whats going on here!!"
If the old guy hadnt shown it would've been funnier to see Hellmuth freak out on him trying to find out what he was up to...

I watched 2 episodes of this last night on ESPN. It certainly gets a lot better towards the end. These 2 episodes showed the final 3 tables that were played in Binions and plays down to the final 9. This is where Andy Black came into his own. There were a couple of great hands that he played that were shown last night.

Ivey is one of the chip leaders with more chips than Andy and limps in from mid position with QJ. Andy raises from late position with A2 diamonds. Ivey thinks for a while and re-raises to 500k. Andy pushes all-in for close to 2 million, Ivey folds and Andy shows him the A2. What a great read by Andy. From that point onwards, Ivey was completely neutralised and barely played a hand.

Andy made another great read against Raymer, re-raising him all-in with pocket tens on a king high flop. This time raymer was at it with QJ I think.

My only problem with the coverage was that it didn't show how well Andy played when 6 handed to become chip leader - I think this was beacause he won most of these chips with aggression before the flop. There were some good scenes of banter between Mike Matusow and other guy called Sheikh.

Another interesting hand which Andy won't be proud of was when with 10 players left (final table bubble), Andy limped in with KJ. Tex raised to 1 million from the button and Andy pushed all-in after considerable thought. Tex had JJ and Andy lost half of his chips in this hand.

Aaron Kanter is one of the luckiest players I have ever seen. He played terribly, especially when rivering a runner runner flush against Greg Raymer's KK when he had no business being in the hand on the flop. There must have been about 5 or six occasions where he rivered his opponents when way behind.
