cheap flights (or otherwise) from Nice/Marseille to Madrid

I found an unmissably cheap fare from Madrid to Costa Rica, but can't seem to find any cheap flights or buses from Nice or Marseille to Madrid to match up with the flight (19th December). Eurolines doesn't have any buses going near that date. It's a long shot, but does anyone have any suggestions for sites/companies doing…
