Why did they have a load of young 'uns talking about the '70's as if they remembered them. Sheana Keane was on, she is about 34 but the way she was going was as if she was 54 and like she was 25 or so during the seventies. Geri Maye is about the same age aswell. They would have been only born in about 1970 or later.

And another thing - did the Rose of Tralee ever have a swimsuit section like they said in this programme?

They can still have memories of Irish TV as children, I suppose. Don't forget for most of the decade many Irish households only had one TV channel. However, RTE is stating Geri Maye was 30 during the summer. Being born in 1975 or 1976 might be stretching it a bit having her on alright.

Edit: Sheana Keane was born in '72. Just about plausible, I suppose.

I detest these shows in all their form when they have comedians/celebrities on instead of genuine students/fans of the subject matter.

Muppet comes on and says "Oh I remember the bit where .... " and rattles off precisely what happened despite not having seen it in 20-30years. And he'll do this 2 dozen times during the 3 hours show. It's clear the prog-makers had a portable dvdplayer with them and just showed him the clips in question 5minutes before starting the interview

That's exactly what I was thinking while watching it.....

It was the way they were going on that really annoyed me. They weren't talking as if they were childhood memories. They were talking as if they had been at the discos and actually worn all the lurid green stuff. It was all adult memories and yet they certainly weren't adults in the seventies...... wouldn't have minded at all if it was childhood memories.......
