    It probably isn't.
What were you thinking of buying, anyway? Must be pretty good if it needs 450W min.

450 watts? I didnt think any card needed that much yet. Anyway, the 4600 psu's peak at 345watts so it can take a 6800GT and the like. Not sure about a 450 watt one. It's probably be easier and cheaper to get a 6800 or x850 or something and hold onto the original PSU.

www.pcpowerandcooling.com do dell suited psu's. But any standard ATX power supply should work.

Be very careful here. While I can't vouch for current-generation systems, older Dell PSUs have their ATX power connectors wired up in a non-standard way. If your system is like this, plugging in a standard ATX PSU could cause serious harm to your motherboard (i.e., mobo goes pop).

Make sure you do your homework before replacing a Dell's PSU, unless you're installing another Dell PSU (or one known to be compatible with your model/family)

Yep, I have the 4600 myself and had to to a fair bit of digging around when I was getting my new graphics card, so the 4600 can take standard ones. Depending on whether or not the PSU has an on/off switch you might have to cut a small bit out of the back of the case though.
