I recorded a BBC programme "Who Do you Think You Are" on Sky + and today
when I went to transfer it to tape sky box wants PIN Number. !!! Since I have never used the PIN facility and according to the manual the PIN shud be last four digits on reverse of viewing card. Of course it does not work. Spent hours trying to get thru to SKy 0818 719 819 but does not ring.
Has anyone another number for tech support where one dos not have to wait
fpr hours. Is it possible to ring UK numbers starting with 0870 (2435000)
    Thank you

The PIN will be the last 4 digits of your old card.

Never had any other card in this sky + box as its just one year old.
Last four of old standard sky card maybe.
Any offers on phone numbers for tech support other than 0818 719 819
    Thanks

I had the same problem on Saturday and called the number you can find on one of the Services submenus, helpful lady asked me to read out card number confirm my password and gave me the PIN. Easy, took 3 mins.
