Aye, I was just thinking the same myself watching the game last week - someone said they should send out the entire Armagh team to face them - I said "yeah, the Armagh hurling team"

Pray tell what is Setanta and Shinty for that matter?

Setanta o hAilipin. An Irish player that plays for Carlton in the AFL in Australia. He's from the same county as Tadhg Kennelly, Kerry.

Shinty is a type of hurling game played between Scotland and Ireland every year.

Not too sure a Corkman like Setanta o hAilipin would be too happy with being called a Kerryman.

Wasn't he born in Oz or was it Sean Og?

Is it a satellite channel or available free to the great unwashed? ;)

I need to hook into a decent channel (webcast) to be able to keep up with Irish sports and current affairs. Any ideas?

Sean Og was born in Fiji not in Aus, not sure where Setanta was born, but both are Corkmen and have lived most of their lives in Cork. They are even afflocted with the accent.:)

Setanta is a free channel in parts of the country, although you can get it through sky but you have to pay for it there. Not sure how you would go about getting it on the net, but it is a good channel that shows everything from club county championship games to reruns of inter county matches to premiership football and european rugby.
