Ok last three of 7.5 gtd. on VC. 3.3k for 1st, 2.2 for 2nd and 1.x for third.

I am by far the best player of the three. Emily has been playing ok but is far too passive and is the kind of tight player that gets pushed around too much until she call all in with KQs against AA. PokerUK is a bit of a loose canon, he was playing some BAD poker earlier but is playing with a bit more cop on now. He is raising quite a bit.

All three names have been changed btw.

PokerUK has raised nearly every button, so both him and Emilys range are probably quite wide. This is the 1st time that Emily has gone all in like this, but because of the dynamic of the table I really dont think she has or needs a monster. I woudlnt be surprised if she had 66/AJ upwards. That said she isnt bluffing (and she isnt semi bluffing with KQ/jQ either) as she has to know that PokerUK will probably call. He certainly isnt folding AJ. I think Pokeruk will call all in if I dont with any reasnable hand, A8 and so on. He will fold embaressing (he would feel) hands like like 9T.

called 16,000 and raised 40,000 but she calls 48,000?
    where`s the other 2 gone!?

anyway, your probably in the lead with your 9s but if pokeruk will call if you fold - i`d let em at it.

if pokeruk calls and loses your up against a player who doesn`t know how to play short-handed/heads-up it seems (you said you think your better than them)

i`d leave my 9s go couldn`t risk if both had over cards, % of 1 of them hitting isn`t worth it.

if your the better player, wait for a time you don`t have to risk your stack and outplay them.

    how`d ya do?

Emily has already posted the SB. PokerUK makes it 56k total to go, Emily calls 48K + the SB 8k, then raises all-in.

I'd fold the nines here. You most likely racing but could be boned by either of the two other players who have an overpair.

If this is true then it's an easy fold.

That was my first reaction too but I'm not sure a fold is agood here. You are likely to be ahead of Emily's range here since she'd probably not go all in with a big pair. You're probably racing or you're a decent favourite. If you jam here PokerUK will almost certainly fold everything but QQ-AA and might fold AK.

Given the fact that PokerUK's range is off the charts and you are likely to be ahead on average against Emily I tihnk you should jam.

Fold for sure. I doubt very much the 9's are leading here

You are behind the range you gave for Emily, 66+ and AJ+. The possibility that PokerUK may have a real hand, lets say QQ+ or AK, with which he will call all in 3-way, makes up for any dead money in the pot, so you should fold.

I don't really think it's anything to do with whether you're the best player or not. Your edge in making the correct decision here outweighs the chance you will have to outplay them later.

    Fold.

But since you called, what was the outcome?

    I folded!

Nicky I think that Pokeruk would of called even if I did with AJ AQ AK - hes a moron.

Anyway Mr Uk called all in with A7, Emily had AK. This was the only hand of the tournament that I really wasnt sure at the time, my initial instinct was to fold so I went with that. I think JJ AK + and I definitely call here. If PokerUK hadnt of been playing so aggressively on the button this would be an easy fold, but Im not sure if I made the right decision.

I ended second because of this hand, she was folding to my raises so I was raising with only my worst hands. My strategy was to keep pots small and avoid all in confrontations. She was playing a little to tight so I was aiming to wear her down gradually. When we started Heads up she bad me outchipped 2:1 but I took the lead without once playing a big pot.

The flop was so draw heavy so I bet the whole pot, trying to dissuade a draw from going all in. I think if id just gone all in on the flop she would of folded.

Unlucky. I would probably fold TT in that spot automatically because its not easy to think things through when you've got 15 seconds to act.
