Im having a very wierd problem with my mouse pointer, at randoms times while im using my pc the mouse pointer just stops, well actually its just the little arrow that stays where its is, my mouse is still active and I can use it but I cant see where it is, the actual picture of the arrow stays in the place it stopped at. really annoying, I have to reboot to sort it out.

    Any ideas?

    S.

Of course it depends on the source of the problem, but a possible work-around is to try disabling the hardware cursor...
Right-click a blank area of the desktop => Properites => Settings => Advanced => Troubleshoot
Then in here, move the 'Hardware acceleration' slider down one notch.

If that doesn't sort it, try more catch-all solutions like installing the latest drivers for your video card, motherboard and mouse.
