    This Halloween..

.. why not give your Roman Candle to your dog?!

Not particularly funny to be honest but worth a look just for the fact that..
the family / group are all laughing and giggling yet one of the "missile-type fireworks" could potentially take the head off any of them (especially the father and young kid in the back)!

Is it just me or is there an abnormally tall man in that video?

Christ.. he is quite tall alright!

Might just seem it in perspective to the dog in the foreground though!

Roman candles aren't that powerful to be honest.

That's true... i'd imagine they're not but the prospect of flames flying at their heads doesn't seem to phase them! :D

Was that not a repeater, not a roman candle?

I knew a fella who was hit in the back of the neck with one of those. Fairly badly burnt IIRC. I certainly wouldn't like to be hit with one.

hmm.. is that not the same thing, more or less?

They did all seem to dive out of the way anyway.. hardly the safest thing in the world, but no need for hysterics imo.

I can remember one time during holloween being out with a friend in his back garden messing with some repeaters, we decided to put a 50 repeater on a chair. We sat there watching the first 5 go off then watching the chair tip over causing the repeater to shoot 45 fireworks in the direction of an open patio door and into the kitchen. It was like a scene from a war movie, fireworks flying by our heads we didn't even realise how dangerous it was because we were laughing so hard.

had a few mis fires with some myself, great laugh when nobody gets injured, which nobody did, so it was a great laugh, set one off in our front garden but it started going mental a neighbour was at her front door across the road having a gawk at the show and they started firing over at her (hehehe) then everywhere else, we'd to leg it into the alley way but they shot in and were bouncing between the houses:D Another one from the same pack went haywire too started firing everywhere.

We had a massive, massive one, a head on it the size of a grapefruit, the big ones they set off at fireworks shows that everyone goes ahhh oooh at.. anyway, set that off but it didn't leave the ground and boom, we were covered in a shower of sparks which spanned I'd say a good 50 metres.

    Be safe!

    Indeed.

Roman Candles have a continuous flow of flames/fireworks, kind of like a waterfall.

Yes it is important to keep dumb animals away from fireworks on a night like tonight http://www.hedonistica.com/media.php?path=/videos/fireworks_idiot.wmv
