G5 mousemat?

    Hi, I just got a Logitech G5 but alas it doesnt work with my Icemat...

    Anyone know what texture/colour mousemat the G5/Laser mice require?? I dont want an expensive one just something that will work

    any other mat will work, some mice don't work very well with the icemat because it's glass, the steelpad is a great mat, this is a new one on komplett, looks nice

    I'm using a G7 (wireless version of G5) and it works really well on pretty much anything. Once it's not transparent/glass, any pad should do.

    Thanks i just bought a cheapish one and it works grand. Kinda annoying not being able to use my Icemat though :(

    Colour makes a difference it cant be red and glossy! laser goes nut, like if you use a magazine cover the cusor goes all over the shop!
