What's with crazy Jack Johnson fans travelling to see him! Insane :\

Got a ticket...Back of the net. they sold out in 4 mins apparently. 5 of us want to go, but we only got 4 tickets so if anyone knows where to get another I'd be much obliged. Cant wait though

I spend €175 per ticket on EBAY. I have four but I am just gonna re sell two!

Did you see Jason Mraz's gig in manchester is on 12 euro so i made sure to get a few!! be a brilliant gig!!

I cant belive they sold out so fast. I didnt realise how popular he was at all in Ireland. Where have all the fans been hiding? My gf lives about an hours train ride to zurich so we got tickets for that instead. Id say vicar street would be lovely though. Im excited already

My God, that's ridiculous - they're 255 for two tickets at the moment on Ebay, I wasn't expecting them to sell out so fast either, just got tickets at the internet presale because I didn't think I'd remember to get them Saturday.

I wish I'd got more tickets now, but I wouldn't have sold them for 255, that kind of thing sickens me :(

I know, like when people are selling them now for that price and never ever even contemplated going to the gig, its pretty disheartning.

I do on the other hand have a ticket for the Zurich gig, im just happy that i got one at all because i really love him and i think his gig will be amazing.

And hell its a trip to Zurich!!

Hi am with you Hunter...I wondered how the hell he got so popular and then i found out that he appeared on TOTP...the lowest of the low! I hate the show!!!

All these bloody bandwagon fans:mad: I have been a fan since I heard Brushfire Fairytales back in 2002 and I am disgusted by the amount of people that bought tickets just to make a profit!

He moved a few of his gigs to bigger venues in Manchester and London apparently! I have four for Manchester but I am selling them at face value if anyone wants to buy! €39 each was the cost incl booking fee. They are really good seats as i took best available as soon as Vicar Street sold out!

Well aren't you all great for being fans for so long

New fans have every right to buy tickets as well, I smell sour grapes, if you weren't fast enough to get tickets then tough poo poo

I haven't been a fan for long, touting tickets for that much money is sick in any case. Your comments barely apply to anybody that's posted to this thread.

I'm not trying to make money off anyone! I paid full price for the manchester gig and i'm selling for the same price since I got some for the vicar street gig!

Sour grapes?...yeah, you are prob right, I was online at the right time and they sold out in 3-4 mins...my tough luck, i agree...

I never said new fans were not welcome, read my post again, I am annoyed at those who bought tickets to sell at a profit! Being a fan for a long time and having waited for so long to see him, its just more annoying

...seems to infer that you have something against new fans. I got Jack's album lately on the back of hearing him on the radio so am I one of these? I think I have as much right to tickets as anybody else.

Would you prefer if this great music was not on the biggest music tv show at this side of the world?

Oh come on, everyone on this thread is a fan, the people who didn't get tickets are allowed to be a little resentful.

Where'd all the good people go?

"Would you prefer if this great music was not on the biggest music tv show at this side of the world?"

    In short, yes I would.

Reason: it won't get played on the radio....Never trust your radio.

Another person who missed out on tickets.:(

Out of interest whats the deal with presales like this one. How do you buy tickets in a presale?

Such an overrated artist with an annoying guitar playing style.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but WOW....

Just out of interest can you tell me how you become a good artist? IYO of course...

Good song writing, ability to use different styles and a combination of alot of different things depending on what genre you're speaking about.

I think that is extremely unlikely with his godlike status over East.

I basically noticed on ticketmaster that there was an internet presale for the Dublin tickets, so I went to the Jack Johnson homepage and followed the link for ticketmaster from there, they gave you a password, and for about an hour on Wednesday 19 Oct you could use that password on the ticketmaster site to buy tickets!

It's moved to the Point now, so you'll all get tickets but the sound and atmosphere will undoubtedly be twenty times worse.
