They can vary in detail. I've done a medical for one comany that simply consisted of me answering a doctors questions based on a standard company form. It was purely a case of the company covering itself legally. Conversely, I've also had an in-depth medical including detailed questionaire, some physical tests, a full set of blood tests and some spirometery.

It'll probably be different for every company. But i did a medical recently. Mine involved: Height, Weight, Blood pressure, medical history (just a few questions), urine test (for diabetes etc. not for drugs) peak flow (the thing where you blow into a tube as hard as you can), range of spinal movement. Thats all I can think of at the moment but yours could be totally different. It depends on the company and the doctor/nurse. I know people in the same company who went for a medical to a different doctor and he just asked them a few questions and that was it.

Mine was something similar. Check all joints for range of movement, and all of the above. Some old injuries sparked a few comments, but I passed anyway.

My last one included height/weight checks, blood pressure, medical history questions, urine test and eye tests to test for colour blindness.
