Is there any wireless hotspot in Dublin city centre where I can charge my laptop?
I need to keep it charged 'cause I will be using it again later on. Has anyone been able to do this? Would like to know.

If you can manage to sneak into D.I.T you get free wireless internet in the snackery. You can plug your laptop in as well.

It's on this Monday I'm going to be in town so they'll be closed I'd imagine.
I'd prefer to do it honestly anyway. Thanks anyway.

Are all these hotspots not bad news for their owners? What if a little c**t used them to look up dosgy stuff etc, who would be blamed?

They'd be able to track you somehow as thoses places would have your credit card details. The free ones, or places where someone just hasn't secured their network, wouldn't be able to do that though, but they are counting on the fact that you won't be surfing those kind of sites whilst sitting in full view of the general public.
