    very interesting Nvidia claim to have it sorted out...... but they don't several reporting the hardware and the drivers are failing!!

    doh, awell untill i can physically get x1800xt's (crossfire + normal versions) in my hands its 7800gtx

    It's complete poppycock. There will be WHQL errata that cover it, and MS will give it full sm3 certification. The testing tools themselves often cause these failures (I used to work in this area).
