They are basically at the same price, so faster ram/core, 0.11 micron process technology, vivo or slower ram/core, but more pipelines and 256bit memory?

Thinking of going with 6800, but can't really decide...

Any suggestions for the rig? Komplett' shopping list

It will be used as a family pc, and gaming for my brother and me(i stopped gaming good few years ago...), games like hl2, doom3, quake4, fear, etc...
