Considering selling my Dell XPS2 laptop

    Hi Lads,

This is purely meant as a feeler to get an idea for demend and price.. I have a 5 week old Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2 laptop. I orginally got it in April originally but I had a number of small problems with it so Dell replaced it with a brand new one.

No doubt someone is going to mention that they have since launched the XPS m170. This is true but it was simply a rebranding and is exactly the same product, only the name has changed.

    So to the spec:

    2.26 GHz Pentium M
    2GB of Ram
    GeForce 6800go Ultra 256MB
    60GB 7,200k rpm HDD
    DVD-RW
    Gigabit LAN
    17inch Samsung screen - native res 1920 x 1200
    B and G wireless bard
3 year Next Business Day onsite Warranty.

The exact same spec'd laptop to buy new from Dell is €3,500 euro.

I am considering changing as I no longer need a laptop.

Will do some bencharks for those interested if need be.

It gets about 5,500 in 3D Mark05 at stock. It can be overclocked. This one has not been at all however.
