    Hey ye,

My little sister has some friends over from England and they're heading into town for the afternoon. She's just called to ask me if I have any ideas for things they could do..... and since the first two things (waxworks/The Ark) I thought of are (a) lame (b) closed, I thought I might throw it open to the wealth of imagination here.

They're wandering around the city, doing the shopping-chatting thing and having fun by all accounts - but is there anything special they could be doing?

EDIT: a bit more googling found the things to do forum... someone might move this please?

If I'm not mistaken, the ideal homes exhibition is on at the rds this weekend (I should be there)

there's loads to see up there, and the girls will love the bargins and gadgets on offer, lots of finiky kind of stuff and then there's the host of tv mediums and psychics, healers, tarot and card readers that usually set up their stalls there. :)

[just for entertainment value of course]

Cheers. The viking splash tour looks like a bit of fun, but they didn't think it was worth the price.

They ended up having a lovely day in town and are just kicking back at home now. Dinner or bowling tonight probably - thanks for the suggestions.

hang around a street corner harassing passers by, rolling joints, and drinking cans. That'll give them a real taste of irish teen life.
