Hey guys i'm looking to unload my wing chun dummy. Unfortunatly with my schedule i never get to use it and it's a shame to have it just sitting there gathering dust. It's a free standing one in excellent condition, if there is anyone interested pm me and we can talk details.:)

Upon reading your title I laughed at the thought of one particular Wing Chun dummy..

Some lad proclaimed to me the other night(wed)(At fancy dress, him in his WishyWashWu kung fu gear) how he would "punch my head in","knock me out" etc. I asked "How come I never seen your martial art in any competition?" ..
I then recieved the classic "We are not allowed compete. Our martial art is too dangerous." Needless to say I laughed.

Dont want to start a thread on this(sorry about the hijack), but would like to say, anyone who knows this DCU student, tell him not to be such a little ****, otherwise he'll get his ass handed to him on a plate one day...

This is not the poor students fault! It's his instructors!!

Though folk that do MA in college can be a bit too much into the hype.

Kung Fu training clothes r actually alot more comfortable than Gi's, and if ur doing a standup style the they r alot more practical than a Gi, u can move much more. Unfortunately though the silk suits rnt nearly as tough as a Gi so if u do grappling theyll get wrecked.
And Wing Chun is a self defense style. It wasnt developed for competitions, and yes there is a difference. Wing Chun would have to be altered to make it ring compatible, though u might aswel just do san shou or something.

Six years later I wonder if you got rid of your wing chun wooden dummy. Any ideas where I can get one
