Converting a .PK file to MP3

    Can anyone recommend free software utility that will convert a .PK sound file to MP3?

    i think (googled) that .pk files are adobe audition peak files, which aren't actually audio files, but just files that calculate the peaks in an audio file for editing purposes like .sfk (sfl or sfk im not sure) files in vegas

    Hmm.. Oh well.

    Someone sent me an audio conversation in .pk file format. I thought Id be able to convert it. Not to worry!

    i'd imagine s/he edited the clip in audition or cooledit and then sent you the wrong file cos the program would generate a .pk file with the same name as the .wav/.mp3 file
