Why don't the poker sites develop mac versions of their software? I know pokerroom have the non download version etc but it's really annoying having to use my pc to play poker, when i have a really fancy apple laptop!
It just doesn't make any sense!

    Try these

    www.bugsysclub.com
    www.gamesgrid.com

and this ones still testing with play money .... interesting though, you can tell when a player looks at his cards

    www.live3dpoker.com

As for why they don't develop for Macs?
Apple still has less than 10% of the market.

Why don't you install windows on your mac?

I've put Virtual PC on mine, but it's a dog. Uses too much ram and loads all too slowly. Tried some Play money tables, and it's quite annoying to be timed out of a hand before your cards show up on the screen :)

What's the spec? I've seen it on a G4 with 1Gb of ram it seemed to run pretty smoothly.

I've a 12" G4 Powerbook. It's only 867mhz but the ram's 1.12gigs. I think it's got something to do with something called Bus Speed on the laptop being slower than that of a desktop computer. It actually takes an age for Virtual PC to load, and anything internet based is crap on it. Even simple web browsing takes forever to load a page (and I've a pretty decent broadband connection). It's fine for stuff like word processing, but anything else is just awful.
