Anybody else out there running SuSE 6.2?

I can't seem to get PHP working, don't really know where to look to be honest smile.gif
The php3.ini-dist file is there (/usr/lib/apache I think) but apart from that there's no mention of php anywhere else. I presume it's on the system somewhere, what with 6 CD's and the php3.ini-dist file it certainly looks like it is.

    I can't find libphp3.so either.

    Anybody got any clues?

I can't download it either as my Linux box isn't on the Net yet. sad.gif

    Thanks

if you need it badly , just download it in win and mount the win fat 32 drive in linux.
    Quite easily done actually.
heres commands : (soz if you know them already)

    mkdir /dosc
    mount -t vfat/dev/hda1 /dosc
    cp<source filename> /usr or wherever
    decompress and run it away.

    Hope that helps!

I'm actually downloading the source now, next problem is, the Linux box is upstairs smile.gif

    This machine is downstairs. sad.gif

I've only got about 10 feet of coax and couldn't be bothered bringing my own one down unless I really need to.

Is there a program that allows you to split a single file between two floppies and put it back together again?

OK, now something really weird is happening
When I run the configure script like this:

    ./configure --with-apache=/usr/local/httpd/include --with-mysql

It says it can't find httpd.h in /usr/local/httpd/include which is exactly where it is.

    Oh bother smile.gif
