Anybody able to give me directions to Blackrock Clinic from city centre? I have to be there Tues morning and will be driving.

    Thanks

Start from the junction of Nassau Stret and Grafton Street. Drive along Nassau Street and continue for exactly 4 miles. Blackrock clinic is on your right hand side at the traffic lights.

Did you even look at the their website?

They have a map on it.

The current map on their site isn't good for driving directions.

At 9.30/10am, would it be best to drive from Heuston Station via

    1. the canal and Pembroke Road?
    or
    2. up the quays, past Trinity and Merrion Square?

    Proabably no.1?

Edit: Just found this on AA website:
Works take place on Baggot St Upper, from 8am to 6pm daily, until Sun 29th March. Further on, works will also be in place during the same times on Pembroke Rd from Waterloo Rd to Pembroke Lane. Expect some delays.

    Help!

It really, really, really depends on where you are starting from.

The finishing bit is simple. There are numerous routes out of town, but to get to the Clinic you will either end up coming along the N11 (Stillorgan Dual Carriageway) and down Merrion Avenue, turning left at the bottom, or the Merrion Road & Rock Road, turning right when you see the Clinic entrance.

The OP just said city centre but in my post I said the starting point will be Heuston. Think I'll go with Merrion and Rock roads. Thanks.

I saw you talking of Heuston alright, but I wasn't sure where that came from since the OP didn't mention where they were starting from.

I didn't notice that you had resurrected a thread from 2005 - that's why I was replying to the original query.

I would go with the quays, O'Connell Bridge, College Green, Nassau Street, Merrion Road & Rock Road till you get to Blackrock College on the right and then take the next right at the lights.
