Microsoft Outlook HELP

Hello,

I have started using Microsoft Outlook -- going through my vodafone mail account.Everything is working ok but it wont send to some e-mail accounts
but they send if i log onto vodafone !
I get the system administrator msg. undeliverable ?
Why is this when i can send it with vodafone direct ?

Please help !!!

If you using outlook have you set the outgoing server to your ISPs & not vodafones.

POP3 is used only to receive mail. Presumably you're missing the SMTP stuff. That's what beller b said.

You need to include the address of your outgoing server. You could use pop.vodafone.ie, but it'll be refused. Usually you use the one of your ISP. If you've ntl, that's smtp.ntlworld.com. If it's eircom, it's mail1.eircom.net. Don't know the rest.

What the wording of the delivery failure message?

This is word for word,
Outgoing mail server(STMP):mail.vodafone.ie
Incoming mail server(POP3): pop.vodafone.ie

Is this any help????

You need to change your outgoing mail server to your ISPs.. Vodafones STMP only works from thier web based mail AFAIK

as the guys all say, definitely smtp server name problem, get the correct one from your ISPs website.
