    How do you change the default settings of different Network Connections in Windows XP Home

    ie... Have a Wifi connection and will also have a connection LAN via the Ethernet port.

    How to I set the WIFI as they default connection and the other secondary as when I connect the crossover cable it kills my wifi connections access to the internet

    Do you use a proxy server ?

    Otherwise you may be looking at an ap that changes network settings on the fly

    or setting up static routes with weighting (metric - lower used first) which is a real pain.

    use route print to see what routes you have
    with Wifi only
    with LAN only
    with both
