Don't actually know any forums but if you've bought Matlab then you are entitled to technical support and from my experience it was very good(through email). I haven't used Matlab in the last couple of years.

I've found the comp.soft-sys.matlab newsgroup to be good. Also Mathworks runs Matlabcentral which is a useful resource, although not a discussion group.
