Boards.ie Online League Table

    Hi all,

    Now that Konami have got there act together with the online functionality of PES5 a boards.ie league is just around the corner :D

    I was thinking of coding a php online league tracker that will-
    -Dynamic League Table
    -Each player has their own login
    -Players enter result after each match, if the two players enter the same result the table will be updated, if the results clash raise an alert to the admin.
    -Mailshot for each result to the other players in the league
    -Fixtures, well not exactly. Having times and dates for matches is pretty pointless. If we have a list of all games due to be played we can flag it was played when the players update the score. So in theory the fixtures will be the unflagged matches. Hope that makes sense... :confused:

    I'm also open to other peoples ideas for what the site will be able to do.

    If someone could design and code some HTML front end for me while I'd do the php coding that would be great. Let me know.

    Finally do you all reckon it's worth doing? No point going ahead with it if nobody is using it :p

    Absolutely, go for it! And there's no reason to rush it, cos i reckon we'll all be spending the next couple of weeks just getting to grips with the game.

    Yes. But in theory it wouldn't be any trouble to include a league for PS2, XBOX etc.

    70mb php mysql2 websapce available for hosting needs.

    There a few programs out to do this i have one but boards webspace down so cant show.

    Game is playable online!!!!!

    And available to buy in Xtravision NOW!!!!

    could I also suggest a mirc room #pes5.ie or something similar for people to meet for a friendly or a boards league game.

    #pes.ie is up running about a year now.


    Last years debacle i mean league was usually games monday night and mini CLs/Wcs sunday nights.

    The mini CLs were good fun but the game ruined the league with its lagginess.
