    thathurricane watch mentioned above is now a hurricane warning.

    Beta could become a hurricane by either later tonight or early tomorrow morning local time.

    Could be Hurricane Beta by tomorrow morning

    well no change in strength according to the 21 z advisory. It is still moving north.

    the much anticipated turn to the west has occoured so it seems. no all that remains is to see how strong beta can get before making landfall. up to 90mph as of the 00z advisory.

    picked up a fair amount of strength overnight, now Category three.

    Lucky for those central american folk Beta didnt grow in strenght. Anyways I found a great little storm tracker, it shows the last 26 named storms and shows you the storm path they where on and monitors any new activity. Interesting stuff.
