Internet Problem !!!!

I have a PC running windows XP and I have broadband with Irish Broadband.
My problem is that my Internet will work for about 5 minutes and then it wont find any pages. If I reboot my PC it works again for another 5 minutes.
The funny thing is that my bit torrent client bitlord still downloads stuff while I cant surf any websites. I have tried loads of anti spy and anti virus stuff.
i even installed firefox as I thought it was a problem with microsoft explorer.

    Has anybody got any ideas?
I don't want to wipe my machine as I have so much stuff on it.

Contact your service provider, might be a problem with your account!!

Turn off your bittorrent client and see if that makes any difference. Azureus used to have a similar problem. It basically removes your DNS ability after some time, but you can still use IP addresses.
