Best Dreambox for low signal?

I get marginal signal on a few sat's that are still usable on the SS1 card on my PC so was wondering like the Digibox's (Pace etc) if there is better models for handling weaker signal.
And does anyone have one going cheap!

NB please nobody start discussing anything else about these boxes as i'm sure the mod's won't appreciate it...use google

Next Bigger dish size about ten times more difference than variation between receivers. The Dish is the "aerial" and the LNB the "front" of the receiver. The Sat box has little effect, though some are poor at very low SR (1000 to 2800).

The dreambox have notably poor tuners. Down to more of a driver issue apparently. Anywho the new dm500s the latest rev has a new alps tuner afaik which is meant ot get lower sr better and hold signals more stable.
