    Hello
    Is NTL cable available in Galway or do I have to get Chorus Cable? Whats the Service Like?

    NTL in Galway and they also do Broadband now which is excellent, best BB products in the country, in case you are interested.

    Thanks for the info. Not interested in BB - noy yet anyway. I just don't know which cable provider to go with Sky, NTL or Chorus.

    Chorus isn't an option.

    NTL gives you C4 and UTV which aren't on Sky (UTV should be available through "other channels" in the next few months).

    Sky has more channels, however all the most popular channels are on both, most of the extra channels on Sky are crappy shopping channels etc.

    Sky has generally a better picture and sound quality.

    NTL is generally cheaper, specially if you have multiple TV's, VCR's etc that you want to hook up to it.

    NTL will have more advanced services in the near future such as BB, telephone service, VoD, etc.

    It is 30GB, but NTL are pretty easy going with enforcing the cap.

    Great,thanks.Time to seee how easy going they are :)
    Is there a way apart from counting of checking how much you have dl'ed in a particular month as there are several of us that download quite a bit...infact all day every day.
