Its big, no denying that, but i think i would be ****ting myself just a little more dropping into this :o .

    http://www.wannasurf.com/spot/Australia_Pacific/Polynesia/Tahiti/Teahupoo/photo/050503101944.jpeg.jpg

I would be ****ting myself a lot more due to the fact that about half a metre under that water line is Jagged reef and rock :o . If you come off on this wave you are going to be ripped to pieces.
Mike Parsons wave out at Cortez Bank was insane as well. I have it on a DVD. They travel 24hours on a boat to the middle of the ocean to this massive bank, those waves are big  .

Right click on the page that has the video.
Search (CTRL + F) for "wmv" without "".
copy the whole link and paste into address bar.
    hit enter
    save as

if it just goes to the actual video and doesnt give you an option to save as, put the link in google then right click save as.

I thought it was alot more impressive watching how close the helicopter was getting filming that than the surfing. Notice the camera angles at the start of the vid, the cameraman didn't have to zoom much to get that picture;)

    July 9 1958, Alaska http://www.extremescience.com/BiggestWave.htm
When the stuff went "kersploosh" into the water it created a massive wave that washed 1,720 ft/524m high over the headland in the right side of the above picture

Any day now, La Palma http://www.rense.com/general13/tidal.htm
Such a landslide from a future eruption could travel up to 60 kilometres (37 miles) from La Palma's coast, causing the formation and then collapse of a dome of water 900 metres (3,000ft) high and tens of kilometres wide.
