Crawdaddy -- Good venue?

I got tickets to see Emm Gryner in November @ Crawdaddy. I'm just wondering if people have been there, and what their impressions of the place as a concert venue is like?

I'd assume it's good for small, intimate gigs?

It's ok, it wouldn't be my favourite place in the world. Nice surroundings in a murky, cave-like way. Sound is all right. Although I hope that person you're going to see is loud because the sound of the cash register and glasses from the bar at the back of the venue has ruined a couple of gigs on me.

    Hmm she's not exactly loud.
