Being going out with B/F over 3 years - first year amazing - the recent 2 years up and down - more down in the last few months but still felt like we were getting on ok and didnt realise things were that bad due to stresses with work etc. plus we just bought a house together and only settled in over the last few months. We were still having a laugh, getting on etc but there were little things he said or did that hurt my feelings from time to time - usually when he was tired or stressed with work.

Nearly a month ago he tells me he wants space and doesnt know how he feels or wants anymore. He hasnt been treating me well since - practically ignoring me (and we in the same house!) and there was a holiday too which was a bit of a disaster.

i pushed him for answers and he was mad i did this - i eventually decided to stop and last weekend went away for a few days to think things through. I came back and he still doesnt know. Hes being an a**ehole about everything and hasnt considered my feelings whatsoever in all this. My friends are all telling me to leave him and move on - he is not treating me right - I still love him and think of how we were - should i take their advice?? (sorry for the long post) Would appreciate any advice

Buying a house together is always a stressful time. This may be a substantial reason why u both are feeling pressure. It may take months for your relationship to settle. Did u live together before this?

Seems a bit early though to be talking about "moving on"

It doesn't sound good, & the relationship probably has run it's course, but if you feel it's too much to give up on, then why not move back home for a few weeks / months etc & give each other some space to see how you feel about each other. You can stay together or whatever but just don't be in each others faces all the time.
Maybe then ye'll appreciate the time you have together & realise that ye have something worth holding onto.

That's just a thought, I might be way off, but you never know!
