I think that Paul O'Connell and Simon Easterby are subject to fitness tests so there may be changes!

I thought Eric Miller was coming back into the Leinster team, and therefore would make it. And with Easterby a bit iffy, I'd love to see Heaslip starting (and Best as well, but that's a long shot) in the back row.

Who will this AN Other be?

Exciting prospects - no sign of Wilson though........oh well.
If these three dont get a starting run against Romania we know its gonna be some sh!t season with steady Eddie

yeah i don't think reggie should be there. He was destroyed by the bath props.

tbh, i reckon it's a little early for kearny as well. He can't tackle.

I'd have had Brown ahead of him at leinster too...

Heaslip has to start. He has been awesome

Frankie Sheahan is also out for 6 to 12 weeks.

Lads do you not think Buckley should get in the squad and get some experience even just being round the team and bleed him in on short spells with **** teams ie Romania. Is Fitspatrick that far off the pace as well? I really belive your going to need the BIG BIG boys to keep competing in the top 5 in world rugby

Definitely think big Buckley should get a run out against Romania, Heaslip and Trimble are also playing out of their skins! Especially considering it's their 1st season at inter-pro.

O'Connell and Easterby are as good as out, I'm afraid. Both with broken bones. Nose and hand.

Throw the young fellas in!! Nothing to lose. If we go with the steady old guys we'll get hockeyed anyway. Give youth a chance. Trust to luck. We're bound to strike lucky once in a hundred years.

That's how long we've been playing these guys and never once beaten them.

It's looking bad for Buckley but I thought Fitzpatrick would be picked. I think there are some very good players called up like Trimble, Bowe, Heaslip, Lewis and Kearney but I don't think any of these will start against NZ.
