hi ther just wondering if anyone could help me finding a source that will tell me pros and cons of commercial vs public health info, eg any particularly good examples- quack like sites etc. thanks

depends on what you mean - if you want something objective, then it depends on the topic.

Beware of pharma companies - although they cannot give false information, they only give information on their own products.

I find the National Institute of Health website in the USA a good place to start although treatment and diagnostic indicators are slightly different this side of the pond.
