Sorry, prob with previous post for some reason.
Anyway, just looking for some advice on laptop Dunnes have on offer at moment. If anyone has any experience or knowledge or problems or info at all on it I'd appreciate it. Wondering if it's worth a look.
    It's a Fujitsu Amilo L7300
    Basic info:
    Intel Celeron M360 processor
    512MB RAM
    Li-ion battery
    40GB hard disk
    Wireless and broadband ready,etc.

    What people think?
They're selling it for 750Euros, have 1 year warranty and support and all that.

Seen better ones in PC World in Blanch on Sunday for 100 more with a pentium 4 processor.

As brands go, the Amilo have a good rep.
This isn't one of the Amilo's with a recalled battery, nor a dodgy HDD.
After that, however, it's not a great spec. for that money.. Have a look in PC World, or Dixons, or on Dabs.com or Dell.ie ... it shouldn't be too hard to match/beat that spec...
What is the intended use of the laptop?

Laptop being used for basic internet and word functions. Need reliability and good battery life.

    The spec. sheet: http://www.fujitsu-siemens.com/Resources/103/1337056781.pdf

In that case, it'll do/be what you want (Although: the battery life is rather disappointing).. It's just that we think that you could get a better 'deal' elsewhere.
