Is there a demand for an Irish Skate, BMX and Blade magazine ... would it sell many copies ??

Doubtful, it'd be shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite. Check http://www.freeflowmagazine.com/ for a current attempt an Irish extreme mag, which tries to cover too many bases and ends up being rubbish. Stick to one area and do it well.

Sheeze i dunno lads ... a mag will only be as good as the people given info to it, and subscribing to it aswell .... the more relevant and useful it is the better. One of the stakeholders in a local mag would be the local companies, it would be in their interest ... the reason i mentioned those three (skate, bmx and blades) together is cos they are all closely linked (mostly same comps, companies, parks not literally, obviously some companies specialise etc.)

Maybe that mag freeflow is too broad ... but how many skate companies (for example) support it and supply it with current up to date info ..... alot of the time, mags (in my experience) can end up looking for info coming close to the deadline ... if they are getting all the info, they will come up with ways of getting it in there. If you dont have the info .... you're kinda funked !!

Haven't read the mag to be honest .... but their site looks good !!!

Ive read a few issues of free flow. There isnt a whole lot of reading to be honest.Loads of adds and junk articles if u ask me.If friends of mine get a mentsion in it for downhill of bmx Ill track it down and but it just for that. Its trying to develope the scene in this country which is positive no matter what.
At least it realises the fact that not everyone likes team sports!!!

Exactly .... anything that helps is good imo !!

Question .... does anyone know anyone that has written to them to tell them of an event/comp/new video/article/whatever ??

If the answer is "no" .... then there is the problem !!
