it scraped the disc i think it was the lense it wasnt the usual scratch it looks like a smear but isnt

yes but it looks like a smear up close it is really deep. the fact it has done it twice now has me wondering

rent it out for the night and give them back your messed up game. Immoral but should work. Alternativly buy it second hand and bring your copy back and complain it dosnt work and you want your money back. Just as immoral but just as likly to work.

i remember hearing about this when it was launched that if you stand up your playstation it can scratch the disks.only on the older models unno about slimline.

Not sure you could stick the slim ps2 on its side wouldnt take more than someone walking by to blow it down :eek:

i remember having the same problem with GTA vice city, untill i turned the ps2 on the flat
