Can anybody suggest any ideas for a special weekend in Ireland. Want to stay in a nice place with good food with a romantic setting?

Rent a cottage in the west of Ireland and make sure it has a real fire.

doesnt really have the same ring to it!!!
In relation to the question, Galway, and Roundstone in particular is very nice. Prepare for a loooong journey if you go for that though.

Ah ye'r all romantic dote's deep down.

Here's what I recommend. Go to http://www.activitybreaks.com/ and choose from one of there packages. I'v dealt with them before and there feedback and prices are excellent. They have a large selection and something to suit everyone I'd say. What I'd go for if I was as romantic as Dublin Shane is go to Ryanair/aerlingus and find a cheap flight to a country that you'd like. Then match the destination with the package. It'll prob cost as much as a weekend in Ireland and the experience will be greater.
Otherewise there is an Irish option like this one....

And for that special night visit http://www.viagra.com/
