    Hi,
I'm heading over to Florence in December with Ryanair and I see that the last bus connection to Florence from the airport goes at 22:35 and we only land at 22:15. I was just wondering if anyone knew if this service was going to be extended because of the Ryanair flight from Dublin. If not, does anyone know how much a taxi from Pisa Airport to Florence would cost ?

    thanks.

That's some distance. So I'd hazard a guess at the price being expensive. Have you looked into train times?

    Try
http://www.trenitalia.it/en/index.html for train times ( Pisa airport has a train terminal nut sometimes its usually faster to take the bus from pisa airport to the trainstation in pisa center then on the florence

The bus will wait for the airline passengers.

    Indeed it does.

However (having just done this) I would recommend a night in Pisa followed by a morning exploring and of course hit the tower .... climb it - surreal experience!

Then take one of the number trains to Florence that afternoon, €5.10 single - and just an hour or so journey.

Florence is lovely ... like an open-air museum!
