Any way to use a cdwow £20 voucher along with a £1 voucher

I bought some £20 vouchers. I remember when entering the codes you used to have 2 options, real vouchers you paid for and the e vouchers you got free in promotions. Now it seems all vouchers are e-vouchers.
Is there any way to use them both?

    Afraid not....

from the Terms and Conditions page...
    Gift Voucher redemption
Only one gift voucher per person can be redeemed per transaction. We cannot allow more than one gift voucher to be redeemed per transaction.

thats really odd though. I can understand one free e-voucher. but if you got a gift of 2 €10 vouchers and something was €15 or €25 you can only use one at a time.
I bought a load of £20 vouchers when the 20% discount still worked. Seems you enter in the code again to get the remainder. So if I buy a dvd for €19, the £1 remainder is pretty useless as I could have gotten it free.

maybe using an automatic £1 discount link will work though.

I was going to say "suck it and see" cause I do know that they will cancel orders with multiple discounts on them (happened to me once - used a link and then a voucher).

On second thoughts though I'm not sure what the refund policy would be when you use a gift voucher - do they up the value of the code number so when it's put in again it's "full up" or do they issue you with a new number....

You could always bang them off an email and ask - you haven't placed an order yet with two codes so whats the harm....?

I have done both, I emailed them, and I went in via a £1 discount link and paid with a £20 voucher.

I had orders cancelled where I used a link and a FREE voucher. But I paid for these. If there was a blanket ban on using e-vouchers with a discount link, then they would simply not give you the option to enter it after using the discount link, save themselves and you the trouble of saying it is cancelled. I just hope they do not keep a record that I bought the voucher via a 20% discount link. I think there is a good chance I will get it. They usually are quick to say if it is cancelled so I will know soon.

I hear you just keep the same code and enter it again, it wasnt explained clearly when I entered it, it said the voucher was -£10.99 and I was paying 0. I paid via my cdwow account, I thought it may have put the money in my account for me.

The vouchers are valid for 6 months. I bought a lot so may have to go back via a £1 link and buy another £20 voucher, bit stupid really.

    Hi
I think you used to be able to use vouchers you paid for along with the £1 free promotional vouchers, I remember when redeeming vouchers 2 boxes would appear. Can you do this anymore?
    I received a £20 voucher as a gift and have a £1 e voucher I wish to use

    Thanks

    Hi

Unfortunately, due to a minority of people abusing our voucher and discount link system, we have had to implement new procedures and as per our Terms & Conditions, I’m afraid only one Voucher or Promotional Discount per person per order is allowed, irrespective of the number of e-mail addresses, card holder addresses or delivery addresses they may possess.

We realise that the minority have spoiled it for the majority and for that we are truly sorry. As a small company, we have been forced to implement this new system for commercial reasons but this will at least allow us to keep our prices competitive all year round.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

    Kind Regards

    Vicky

Hope that wasn't us with the 20% Discount thread.....

    The discount link worked!
Order was dispatched, when I was cancelled before they took my money and refunded it before dispatch.

The £20 voucher costed £21-20% which was £16.80, I got 3 dvds with £1 off each so that is £20 worth for £13.80! that is 31% off.

If I bought more in the bargain basement I could have got up to £6 off which would be £20 for £10.80
