Good Job Advertisements

Was looking at a job advertisement I saw earlier that won an award. Problem is I didn't think it was that good. It had the slogo "be part of the team" and had a picture of a jigsaw.

Just wondering has anyone seen anything any better?

I can't really recall any in particular but an ad headline or graphic isn't going to attract me specifically. In deciding what job to apply for, the name of the company or its reputation is more important + what information they give about the job. Interesting post though.

The whole area of job advertising intrigues me really. We did alot about it in the marketing course I did in college but alot of companies tend to spend little time on it, despite employees being a company's most vital asset.

Thats why recruiters do so well though isn't it ?

oh alleepally - isn't it a bit ironical that those ripoff cards are being sold in packs instead of just being made available for printing straight from the website?

I don't have the technology to allow for on demand printing but will be making a pdf available so people can print their own if they wish, although how people can print two sided cards on a home printer I don't know. It's like printing photos at home, sometimes it is a false economy to do it when you take the time, paper and ink cost into account.

Also, unique among any website that I know, I have stated my exact costs and profits on the cards right there on the purchase page.

That's what companies want you to believe
I've seen so many companies with this in their mission statement, and yet they still treat the employees terribly.
They know how disposable you are... you are only a vital asset if you are key (and hard to replace) in order for the firm to succeed.

Getting back to the topic though.... I've seen some great recruitment ads in the press over the years. Can't think of them now though. (Will post back if I remember:))

I remember one incorporating a picture of the world that was very good.
